i'm looking for a PCI EXPRESS wireless card for my desktop pc but they are few and far between - how long has pci express been out ffs and nobody uses it? I have a single pci slot in my computer but my x-fi card uses that. Anyone know of any? The couple i've found don't seem to support vista 64 bit... also I would prefer if it was one of the 108mbps+ ones.
Another question... I remember ages ago using the BT home highway usb modem, and with that pings were 150+... I swapped to a pci ISDN modem and my pings dropped to around 50-60. Do modern usb wireless adaptors increase pings as much as that?
Hmm also I just thought... can you still get those wireless adaptors that plug into your ethernet sockets, one of those might be the best bet.
