I'm after a wireless-N access point to replace my ageing Cisco Aironet 1200.

The two things that I guess I'm after that most people might not be is the support of multiple SSID's on different VLANs (essential) and the ability to take power over PoE (not essential, but nice to have). I know that the first requirement can be done by dd-wrt et al, but unsure about manufacturer firmwares for this sort of thing.

What do people recommend? Is there much difference between the '150Mpbs' and '300Mbps' APs? Are they running a different wireless standard, or something else?

I know its still a Cisco product, but you could look at their small business WAP4410N ?

It will run off of a PoE switch and will do SSID to VLAN matching. Its all web managed rather than CLI, but seems to job nicely. I've just got one for Xmas from the lovely Mrs :)

NetGear options would be the WNDAP350 (concurrent dual band) or perhaps the WNAP320 for single band in a nicer looking chassis.

The WNDAP350 are pretty robust though - we've got lots out in hotels and one got badly waterlogged from a leak. Once dried out it has been working fine again.
