Spec me a wireless router !?

At the moment im using a Netgear DG834GT.

I am constantly having disconnection problems, like every five minutes sometimes. I have phoned BT, its not a problem there end. Ive phoned UK Online, its not a problem there end.

Therefore i can only imagine its the router causing the problem. We had a very similar case, with the same router in my old workplace and as soon as they replaced it, there were no more disconnection problems.

So, spec me please !

Yeah when I joined virgin they sent me a netgear router free, different model I think, but it was crap, some times it'd be ok for a few days then one day Id have all sorts of problems, had to reset the router each time too, right pain the ***
I bought a linksys WRT160N and its cracking and Ive had no problems, link

That's a cable router so that particular version is going to be no use to the OP.

I know I might be pointing out the obvious, but just in case the OP bought it mistakenly thinking it would solve his problem!

Yep, sounds exactly the same as what i have to do.

Oh and i havent got cable, only ASDL 6 Meg.
 
Yeah sorry I meant to link to the ADSL version, obviously pasted wrong link, correct link here, its a bit steep but its an N series so you get very good connection strength, though you do need an N series adapter for PC too
