Windows Home Server machine...
Building one of these for the family and am trying to decide on a spec.
Thinking a cheap CPU, reliable and quiet psu, gig of ram, decent Mobo with lots of SATA connectors *and preferably an optical audio output*, dirt cheap passively cooled graphics, maybe a large Heatsink so it can run the CPU passively - or maybe that compact water cooler and most importantly around 2tb of hdd space.
All contained in a reasonably sized case, not too large would be good.
No optical drive needed at all. Got a USB one that could be connected at a pinch and will only run it with a dvd drive to install WHS on it.
A cheap as possible would be good too.
Aaaaany suggestions?
