Having just returned from holiday to find my computer not working and dispite all my efforts trying to get it to work it won't. So I've decided to use this as an excuse to upgrade.
My old cpu and mobo were an Intel e6400 and an Asus p5b deluxe, so anything new will be a big upgrade. I want to re-use my current drives, gfx card and psu. The psu is a Corsair vx450w and the gfx card is an EVGA gtx 260.

Currently I really only use my pc for web browsing, a bit of photo editing here and there, watching films listening to music and an occasional bit of gaming (WoW).

Can anyone recommend a cpu/mobo/ram combo?

For photo editing, you would make use of a 2600k, however, it seems you don't spend too much time doing it from your post, so I'd say stick with the 2500 and save the money

not sure what your budget is, but heres a CPU, RAM, mobo and cooler (the OEM processor comes without a cooler)

you wont really want to spend any more than this, unless you want a better cooler, or need a crossfire/sli capable mobo.

SNAP.

I notice how you guys have all specced a p67 motherboard, would it still be worth getting a p67 or woudl it be better to save a few pennies and go for a h67?

H67 if you have no intention of overclocking, then you can get a non k series 2500 or less. There is not a huge saving either way maybe £20.
