....which is good on long lines (around 4000m).

Looking for something simple that does Zero IP Bridging if possible, and can disable the on board firewall / wireless etc etc.

I have a Pfsense firewall that will do all the routing / firewalling, and I have a wireless WDS already so got those covered. I have a /27 and a /29 to route, as well as my /32 for the WAN - plus a /30 available if the router doesn't do ZIPB.

I'm looking for stability first, speed second. It's going to be a BE line (if that makes any difference).

It's been a while since I've had ADSL and I last used a Cisco 1841, but the cost is a little out of my reach nowadays so I need to make best use of what I have.

Thanks in advance.

ADSL1 OR 2+ ? I'm using a bridging setup to my Cisco 877 at home.

The DG834GT isn't bad, but for some reason has 7dB higher attenuation than all the other routers I try, not sure if this is merely cosmetic however as the sync speeds are usually fine.
I've also tried a few others - the built in 877 and the WIC1-ADSL in my old Cisco 1701 (both a little slow), a Linksys WAG160N (needed regular power cycles :/), a 2Wire 2700HGV (great sync, but I can't figure out bridging on it) and one I'm currently testing which is a Speedtouch 585v6, which wasn't the easiest to set up bridging on (not all firmwares give you the option in the web interface) but luckily there's telnet access and a decent support pdf (note that you'll also want to set up static routes back to your router). Speedtouch is meant to be good for long lines but hasn't impressed me a great deal speed wise yet, however I'm waiting on a DLM reset for my line which will hopefully let it stretch its legs (made a few wiring / filter changes that should provide a more stable line).
