Spec me an ADSL router

Hey guys,

I am moving house soon and in the new location can't get Virgin Cable yet unfortunately so we're looking to go with Virgin ADSL instead until they can provide cable in the area.

What I am hoping is that someone can recommend a good router to go for, it has to support Wireless N and preferably gigabit ports, I guess I am looking for a router which is reliable and quick as well as most devices in the house will use Wireless so it needs to be consistently good performance.

Can anyone recommend anything? thanks :)

Do not go with Virgin ADSL, wait for someone else to reccomend a provider.

O2 and Be seem to get mentioned a lot

I know but this new area is poorly provided apparently, can't even get LLU services (so o2 and BE are out of the question I think). I'll get the post code and see what is available :)

It does look good that modem/router combo, I'll wait for a few more opinions though I think before deciding!

There are better ADSL Max providers though. And lack of LLU or cable is certainly no reason to get with Virgin ADSL, unless you know with any certainty that the area will be cabled within 12 months. What's the state of play with that anyway? I always thought VM were so saddled with debt that any expansion plans are severely limited.

it's horrible for Internet in general here, Virgin ADSL might be bad but it's about the only thing to get :(
