Not sure if this is the right section of the forum for this thread but it's the most appropriate I could find.

Anyway, my parents have decided to get a new fax machine (they use it an awful lot). But I think they would be better off getting a new All In One Printer as they are forever asking me to copy things for them etc. It needs to be wireless because I think I'll end up using it eventually whenever I get my new PC up and running and the printer will be located in a diferent room.

So basically it has to have the following functions / capabilities:

Scanner
Printer
Fax
Wireless
Easy to use

Budget is £350 maximum.

Many thanks in advance!

The HP Photosmart 3310 Wireless All in One Printer, Scanner, Copier and Fax is good one around £250.

If you're looking for something on more of a budget then the Lexmark X3350 High Definition All-in-One Photo Printer is can be found for around £100. My dad uses the Lexmark and speaks highly of it.

I'll go check them out now. It's quite hard to find one that has all these features hence my asking on the forum.

Thanks ;)

Ok, I checked out that HP Photosmart 3310 Wireless, Printer, Scanner & Fax model that you referred me, and I talked it over with my dad and he was a little cold to the idea first, but when I explained to him how it'll be better for us if we get it he now seems really keen on the idea.

He doesn't want to buy it now though, he says christmas time (when I get home from uni - so as I can set it all up for him :p ) but at least now I know which model it is that we want to buy.

Thanks.

you wanna research printer cartrige prices and if you can get copies first, you dont wanna be shelling out £30 a time on refils. i web order mine, and are not epson ones but designed for my printer, so i get em very cheap. its a good idea to look at these first. =]

If you want to stick to original HP cartridges then you'll be looking at around £20 for B &W and £30 for colour cartridges. If you use refills then its considerably cheaper.

The site I use may be considered a competitor so I can't post a link. My email is on my trust, email me and I'll forward it to you.

Well, Ultimate thread revival!

I ended up going for the HP Photosmart All In One C7180 and it's awesome. The only thing left to ask is where can I get ink for this printer that is cheap. Where do you guys get your printer ink from?

Thanks in advance! ;)
