Basically thats what im after, havent done anything spectacular in past years and feel the need to really mess with someone. Anyone got any ideas?

Fake your own death / heavy paralysation and see how many weeks you can keep it up! :D

note must be given away before the end of April otherwise it would be 'may fools!' and that is just plain silly! :p

Tell your boss you're leaving for a better paid job. You'll either get a pay rise to stay or told it's no big deal and we hope you enjoy your new job in which case you shout April fools and run off laughing. That's what I'm going to be doing anyway.

Then his boss says, you can have a pay raise...april fool you are fired!

Setting someones alarm clock a few hours foward so when they get up at normal time, really they're downstairs having breakfast at 3am

Sounds like someone has been the centre of many a clingfilmed toilet and "faulty" brakes on the car. :p

Yes, and without meaning to sound too Victor Meldrew, IMHO, practical jokes are aimed at humiliating people. The "deliverer" of the joke laughs a lot, whereas the victim (who has no say and may not want to be involved) is simply embarrassed. They are normally just for the gratification of the deliverer.

Rant over

You need to learn to laugh at yourself at times
