Hi all,

As per the title really. I don't have much experience going to Thai restaurants (normally do the usual Indian/ chinese) so I'm just wondering if anyone on here had any good recommendations. Ideally I would like it to be in central(ish) London, and price doesn't really matter too much.

Thanks in advance.

Thai Taste
130 Cromwell Road, South Kensington, London SW7 4ET

Tiny place, with a huge basement. Ignore the reviews, I was lucky enough to be taken there with a group of Thai friends, where the doors were locked, the upstairs lights were switched off and the karaoke in the basement was cranked to 11!

The food was authentically Thai, fresh, fragrant and incredibly tasty!

If you're lucky enough to go along with some Thai mates, get in on a lock-in and enjoy the evening... Watch out for the hangover though!

Nahm at the Halkin or Mango Tree in Knightsbridge, both nice but different. They have menus on their websites.

perhaps not as fancy as the others but Suda (http://www.suda-thai.com/) in covent garden is really good. been a few times and never disappointed.

Went to Mango Tree a few years back and wasn't overly impressed, lackadaisical approach to the bill didn't help (got another table's bill and then a totally incorrect bill).

Cheers for the replies all. Will look into a few of them and decide on one that's been recommended. :)
