Hey chaps,

I've set up the spare room as a gym recently and now I'm looking for an exercise bike with pulse sensor and automatically varying resistance according to program. I used one a while back which I really liked but didn't get the name/model - basically you could select programs like intermittent uphill runs for periods of more intensive work.

Budget up to £300 (hoping this is enough for something decent!)

Your valuable input appreciated! :D

Thanks!

If you think I'm going out cycling in the ice and cold this winter, you're mistaken. ;) My last bike got put under a truck after lending it to my dozy brother and I'm not keen on spending another £500+ on another. :/

Besides, I like the fact that I can have everything I need in one room and all I have to do is run downstairs to have a shower and freshen up. I got a rowing machine as I didn't fancy dragging a boat around. ;)

take a look on fitness superstore, see whatever suits your budget and buy.

a decent rower costs a minimum of £1K.

an okay rower costs a minimum of £600+.

to give you some perspective on your current rower.

£300 should get you an okay bike, but probably £500+ for a decent one.

Cheers, that looks like a decent site. After a quick look I think I'll probably go for something like the Reebok 5.1e - that looks like it'll do what I want it to do. :D
