The toddler dropped the Macbook Pro and now the screen is dead, although the touchbar and computer work when turned on and plugged into the TV, therefore, instead of spending hundreds of pounds repairing it, I'm thinking of spending the money on a monitor instead.
The computer is used for work, which involves using video conferencing and having to multi task at the same time. The important consideration is eye strain, as I will have to sit close to this thing and after that, the location of the web cam, as this will have to either be part of a new monitor or attached to the monitor so that I am looking in the right direction on video calls.
I haven't bought any monitor for over a decade, so feel very out of touch with the market. Therefore would welcome recommendations for my needs.
