As title, I'm looking for some FPS with decent sized single player content. I'm all for multiplayer CoD etc but the single player content always seems to be lacking. I'm looking for more decent games with the timeframe of HL2 (atleast 20+ hours anways). Newer the better as I'd like to push my machine, but any suggestions are welcome.

...Clear Sky. Had quite a lot of fun finishing that recently and clocked up about 30 hours of playtime completing it.

Have you tried it with some of the mods?
HL2 EP1 and 2. Taken together adds plenty more gameplay and good story - assuming you haven't played these already.
FarCry. Gets ridiculous near the end, but is a fun FPS and has a decent length story.
Crysis and Crysis: Warhead. Stunning graphics, obviously, pretty good story and played together should keep you busy for a weekend. As above, how long it lasts depends on your play style.
Fallout 3/New Vegas. As said more of an FPS/RPG, but fantastic games nonetheless and have hundreds of hours of gameplay.
FarCry. Gets ridiculous near the end, but is a fun FPS and has a decent length story.

The hitboxes are fine; your weapons are meant to be inaccurate.

a lot of people give up on this fine gem because of this. I love it because it's quite realistic. The gun jamming at times also goes well with this

These are good places to start. I am quite shocked to see you put chaser in there. a lot of people don't remember or even know what that is. I had loads of fun with that one. Never did complete it though
Must have another pop of that one day.It's good, but its only about 4-5 hours long, I finished it in one sitting!

Like hell it is. The starter weapons can't aim for **** which makes hte start of the game nothing but tedious and the later game weapons have extremely good accuracy no worse than your standard fps.
