As title really - I have some noise on the telephone line (it's the router) and I get occasional adsl disconnections when the phone is in use, though not all that often.

So I thought I'd try another microfilter.

Must be adsl2+ compatible.

I've seen the adslnation ones but they're a little pricey perhaps. Nearly a tenner plus postage.
Amazon have some safecom branded filters that appear to have the same internals as the adslnation ones for less than half the cost.

Don't know if I can link the pages here... competitors and all that jazz
Would help if I could.

Anyone have any opinions on either of these these?

Much obliged.

That's what I thought. Although both filters mentioned in my first post exceed BT SIN #346 specification.
And looking at the image of the internals there appears to be no difference.

adslnation ~ £10

safecom ~£4

Neither of them are really at the 'cheapo' end of the filter market, considering some that I've looked at go for as little as a couple of pounds. But still, ten quid for a microfilter to remove a bit of line hiss and maybe improve stability... the tight-wad in me says noooooo :p
