Afternoon all,

I’m looking to get a indoor camera for one of my rooms. I tried using one of the free iOS remote camera monitoring apps on a old iPhone over Christmas and found it great piece of mind whilst I was away.

I’m now looking for something more permanent.

  • Preferably reasonably small and easy to position.
  • Able to be accessed remotely.
  • Able to save / store footage over a reasonable time period - say at least 7 days?
  • Good video quality, during the day as well as night.
  • It can be wired or wireless if necessary.
  • Somethings that clever and can switch on / off automatically as I leave / return home would be fantastic. Does this technology exist?
  • Secure - I realise there are always security / privacy risks the moment you place cameras into a home environment. Something that’s well regarded in security / privacy terms is a consideration too.
  • Budget - up to £100 unless going beyond that gets you something really exceptional?

Cheers all :)

i'm looking for the same - a cheap but effective indoor cam for security.
I was thinking a blink mini with the sync module to save to memory card - anyone have any experience with them?
I don't want to pay a cloud subcription.
