spec me an intel pc please

i'm having trouble with this...

must have quad core and be DDR3. has to have 1024mb GFX card and 500 GB hard drive.

i've had a go at speccing one up and i built an AMD athlon II for £360 all in except monitor and i can't get close but i admit i suck at intels as i know nothing about them.

Have to agree you won't get close for that price, Intel's are generally more expensive on CPU and mobo's. Besides which I suspect that will include a cheap PSU which is storing up trouble for the future...

ah cool, cheers chaps. i couldn't get near it for the price either and i thought maybe i was overspecing things. going for the cheapest CPU/mobo/PSU etc and couldn't get close. :confused:

you would have to look around in something like micromart (can i say that?). I'm sure i saw a combo for £100 with a p5q board and a Q6600 not too long ago.

2nd hand, but still under budget
