Spec me an ISP??

So, I am a gamer, but unfortunately my family do not share my passion! I am currently using tiscali and getting very poor download/upload speeds. My dad has a laptop which has a poor wireless adapter, and keeps losing his connection, so I have convinced him the ISP is to blame .

I was going to go with BE but the problem is my family want something with unlimited phone as well! So I am looking for someone that can offer good internet speeds and unlimited phone for about £30 a month. I do not live in a fibre optic area (we still use the good ol' fashioned telegraph poles!) and when looking they have been telling me I can get about 15Mbps max.

My main uses are:
Gaming
Uploading HD YouTube vids
Browsing
Working on a site
Tiny bit of torrenting etc.
Preferably something with a free router/ adapter so I can give the adapter to my dad! I have a nice N router ATM

What are your thoughts? Also I have heard about Google stating up their own ISP or increasing other ISP speeds, what do you think about that?

O2, Be, AAISP, Zen, Goscomb.

Not in any particular order but any of those are very good ISPs so it just depends on your budget and whether you want things like IP6 etc. etc.

How is that a problem? BT will be providing the phone line, so just get a calls package like Unlimited Anytime.

Their trials are planned for the states. Anything this side of the pond is pure speculation based on their links with the Conservative Party.
