Hi

I am currently with Fast.co.uk and I am on the 45gb package and costs £34 each month for just broadband. With downloading more games through steam, my wife and kids using netflicks, iplayer etc now I have had to buy extra usage.

I am not prepared to pay for the 110gb package at nearly £50 a month. Fast is an excellant ISP, down time is minimal my speeds are very good for my area and their support is spot on. When I do call support they answer very quickly.

The only down side is the price, I need a reliable isp who can give me the same speeds that fast can but with more usage.

thx.

May I suggest Sky, if your exchange is LLU enabled they are an option. I have been with them for 4yrs and it's has been rock solid. They have unlimited download with no caps so you no need to worry about hitting a limit. All for £7.50 a Mth.

CS wise I cannot comment as I have only rang them twice in those 4 yrs and one of those was to reduce my max delay for gaming.

I have had a look at samknows and they say I can get LLU with Talk Talk (CPW) Fast.co.uk website says I can't. I know nothing about LLU is it only some providers that can supply it in certain areas?

What exchange are you on? Ideally Sky LLU or o2/Be LLU would be best.

Another alternative is Virgin Media or BT Infinity/Sky Fibre, very fast speeds and unlimited usage (FUP applies, but varies with ISPs).

Weatheral exchange which has no plans to be upgraded to FTTC. No cable in my area:(

Samknows says The following services are available in your location:

BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
TalkTalk (CPW) LLU

Ouch, that's pretty bad :(. Well I suppose a BT/TalkTalk reseller would be better, but they're also expensive. I heard Zen is a good one though? £35.74 a month for 200gb, or £25.52 for 100gb: http://www.zen.co.uk/home-office/broadband/home-office-broadband.aspx

That look good, if I do change do you know what are the likely chances of keeping the speeds I currently have? My current speed is 1.6mb and I can download a file at a steady 220kbs which is very good for where I live.

Be unlimited...i pay £15 a month, no useage quotas and no throttling back of anything. I get around 19mbps and 1mb upload. Pretty damn good and cheap although im looking to move to fibre but with BT throttling on p2p, im not so sure about it anymore.
