Hi all,

I moved from Be (upto24) about 3 years ago to O2 (upto16), as my line is only good for about 16meg, and I got it for £13 a month (discounted rate) due to my O2 moblie contract.

Ive since ditched O2 as a mobile provider for 3 as the mobile data speed is rubbish on O2.

This however means Ive now lost my broadband discount, dont know the new price yet, but I presume it will be in line with be unlimiteds 16meg package which is too expensive.

I like to download all the latest linux distros ;) so need an uncapped provider.
I think it might be better value to go for a slower uncapped connection, maybe 8-10meg along with a VPN/newsgroup type bundle, as torrents are wasted on a fast connection anyway, may aswell get a slower connection that I can max-out properly?

Any suggstions that come in at under £20 a month all in?

i was going to stay stick with BE there which is owned by o2, however they have blocked piratebay, you might want to try ADSL24 or TitanADSL

Be have loyalty discounts. If you call them up and ask for your MAC code they will ask why you want to leave. If you tell them that it is because of price they normally offer a discount. I currently pay less with Be than O2 charge.

I don't know if O2 will offer these discounts but it is worth a punt. I pay just over £15 for the Be Pro package. I have been with them for about 4 years now.
