Spec me an LED Torch

I'm loving my Fenix TK75.
The throw is just insane for a light of this size.
But it's the flood that is selling this light.
Very useable for hiking etc.
It certainly put my old TM11 in its place!
2600 lumens and 600m+ throw = YEAH!

I'll be giving it a real workout in Volcano National Park, Hawaii next month.

Yeah but they are unprotected spend a few more quid and go for protected cells.

Some 3400's are too thick to fit in the battery carrier (keeppower 3400's for instance) but Eagletac 3400's fit fine.

That is some incredible specs - 2600Lumens!

I've got the PD32 which is 330 Lumens and it's like having a mini sun in your hand, it actually warms your hands up, but I bet the TK75 can fry bacon from 100 foot away! :D

I read a review that said the bezel on the TK75 got up to 150 degrees F.
That was an indoor benchtest.
But enough to take care of bacon.

My new TN30 just arrived, was posted on Friday from China and was here first thing this morning. Got stung with a £11 charge but that's not too bad considering.

Are 3.7V lithium ion battery (14500s) much better than AAs?

I have a G3 CREE Q5 400 LUMEN FLASHLIGHT/TORCH on order, and was wondering if it is worth spending three times as much again on a pair of batteries and a charger.
