Spec me an LED Torch

I'd have £11.15 waiting for the DHL driver as me and another lad who got his delivered today both got hit with this fee.

The body is exactly the same as my XM-L U2 TN30 (which i'll be selling soon to fund a Zebralight S6330) the only diff is the new XM-L2 emitter.

Will try and get some beamshots tonight comparing the two on turbo:

Just bought myself an LED bulb for my little solitaire which I'm quite impressed with. Was £6.30 delivered from HK. Before the light was so yellow and feeble, where as its a nice bright white light now, its supposed to be 15.3 lumens. I would say its about the same as the led light/flash on most smart phones.

Is there a gap after placing the led unit? If so, how much and does it effect the torch in anyway.

The LED means that you can't fully screw the end on, but its only about a 1mm gap and it doesn't effect it. It's deffo worthwhile doing as the old bulb was so feeble it's was meant that it was almost useless as a torch.

Looking to get a pocket sized torch for work. I work on a drilling rig and frequently work in areas which are zone 0 classified, therefore I need an atex torch which is rated for use in zone 0 areas.

So far I've come up with the Wolf M-40. We use larger Wolf torches in the area and they are well made and reliable.

I was wondering if anyone might have any better suggestions. It doesn't need to be powerful nor pretty but it does need to be hard wearing and reliable and, above all, zone 0 certified.

Just got my EA4, excited to try it out but the charger + batteries i ordered haven't turned up. EA4 came from HK in 5 working days :O.

Any suggestions for a replacement charger + batteries, this one may be lost.
