Spec me an LED Torch

Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations for a keyring / keychain sized torch that is ideally USB rechargeable? Currently looking at the Fenix UC02 as an example.

Thanks

Plumber was using his iphone to light up a cupboard yesterday when changing my tap, gave him one of my flashlights to use which lit up the whole cupboard lol.

Remember having a powercut and the wife started looking for the candles before I could get to one of my torches. Needless to say it lit up the whole room brighter than the normal light so purchases justified that day.

What does this stuff mean?

Led & Tint
Cool White - XP-G2 S4 2B, 5700K
Neutral White - XP-G2 S4 3D, 4885K
Neutral White - XP-G2 S4 5D, 4000K
Neutral White - Nichia 219CT 90CRI, 5000K

Cool white/neutral white/ warm white are colour tints, cool being bluish, warm being more yellow.

XP-G XP-L, Nichia are what led emitter it's using, many prefer Nichia as it's closer to natural light, but less output. 5000k etc is what colour temp so again warm white etc only a figure to represent this.

Olight S1R cracking little torch and rechargeable.

I have the S2R Baton - only downside is that the charging connection for USB is a detachable magnetic dongle and there is a potential for shorting the charging connection which is kind of a weakness - otherwise great torch - I also have the i3E Eos which isn't USB rechargeable and much smaller but really good light output for the size and small enough to be convenient on a key chain.

I’ve gone for the Nitecore tip SS

I've been using one for work for a few months now.
I attach it to my ID lanyard. It is very bright for such a small unit. My only issue is that the rubber on the buttons has become unsealed and I can't get it back in. It doesn't affect functionality but feels naff and obviously affects water resistance. If it did die on me I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

I'll keep an eye on it cheers, size power and convenience thought it's brilliant.

I've had a Tube for a couple of years and its fantastic, thinking of handing the Tube over to the misses and replacing it with a Tip so I'll be interested in your opinion of it.

I need to stop looking at this thread. I swear it's cost me more money overall than any other hardware thread in all my time here! :-)

My excuse is that the £5 pocket torch I bought last year has started to misbehave. Common sense would probably say buy another five of them instead, but I need a brighter torch first so I can find where I misplaced my common sense.
