I'm interested in the Astrolux EC01 which is on a Flash deal on banggood, can someone link to me with a suitable battery (and best place to buy from) please as this will be my first torch using such batteries and I have no idea which are best to get.

Also regarding the USB-C charging am I right in thinking that I can use my phone's 5V 2A charger?

Seems they do voucher codes listed on here - https://www.instagram.com/18650.uk/
VIP code ends Sunday midnight. Think keepower is a good choice for Astrolux torch ? It seems to do well enough with a lot of the batteries I have but I dont have a quality 26650 and would like it to last a bit longer. I'll have to look at changing the flicker it does on purpose to show lower volts

  • Nominal Capacity: 5200mAh
  • Discharge: 15A Max Continuous

Seems quite hefty then

You might as well try the cheap zoomable devices that can cost less than £10. They normally run on 3x AAA, but get one that can run on an 18650 as well.
If it doesn't work, you've lost a few £, if it does you've got a bargain.

I ordered one also, with a battery from https://18650.uk/

I am interested to see how it compares to my D4s (which is daily use), and as it has USB charging should end up replacing the ancient 6 cell D LED modded Mag that sits under my car seat :D It only stays there as the batteries live forever!!

Also, what is the delivery time like on bang good nowerdays? I am interested in the Anduril lightning mode for use during my Halloween setup! Otherwise, I might have to work out how to flash the D4s firmware to a later version to get the feature :)
