I got a little olight torch recently. 1 click for on and then a second click for bright. After a few mins it was pretty warm is this normal for these little torches? Im looking for something to use for inspecting electronic equipment etc
Not sure if you missed this post or not, but I'm also interested in which is better. Thanks that looks pretty decent for £40. Which is the better emitter the SST or the XHP?

Ok makes sense! Ill get something a bit bigger for this taskIf it's tiny then there isn't much mass for it to dissipate the heat coming from the led.
Something bigger you'll be able to run it on low and it'll be brighter than the tiny olight whilst running cooler.
There is a version 2 of this light but hard to get hold of at the moment.
Take a look at the Astrolux EA01S code FIN8301 will bring it down to just under £40

Where did you find that code at? I'm about to order a torch, but that code has expired now.The code worked yesterday when i tried it, just tried this one and it works - BGFLA19
After looking online, I'm torn between buying these two batteries:
Any suggestions?
- GOLISI S43 IMR26650 4300mAh 35A
- Samsung 30T 21700 3000mAh 35A
The battery, as that's nearly around £18 including P&P.I'd go with the higher capacity.
Which one do you need a code for and I'll look.

I was thinking of the 30Ts, as they have a higher discharge rate (35a) vs the 40Ts (30a). Data taken from Fogstar UK.You can get 2 40T's for £17.99 delivered from ebay.
