I got a little olight torch recently. 1 click for on and then a second click for bright. After a few mins it was pretty warm is this normal for these little torches? Im looking for something to use for inspecting electronic equipment etc

If it's tiny then there isn't much mass for it to dissipate the heat coming from the led.

Something bigger you'll be able to run it on low and it'll be brighter than the tiny olight whilst running cooler.

Thanks that looks pretty decent for £40. Which is the better emitter the SST or the XHP?

@Deluxe1
Not sure if you missed this post or not, but I'm also interested in which is better.

The SST40 will throw further with a tighter beam profile whilst the XPH50.2 will output more lumens and give a wider beam profile.

There's a decent view of what I mean in this video starting at 2:30:

Where did you find that code at? I'm about to order a torch, but that code has expired now. :(

After looking online, I'm torn between buying these two batteries:
  1. GOLISI S43 IMR26650 4300mAh 35A
  2. Samsung 30T 21700 3000mAh 35A
Any suggestions?
