Spec me an LED Torch

Got my CREE XM-L T6 LED today yay !!!

Very very nice torch but I think I bought the wrong one lol

I am hoping for something with a smaller flood, hence longer throw. The flood for this is rather wide and it is too similar to the other one have which can zoom.

Suggestions?

If you got a c8 version, try the c8 with the q5 led. It should it a longer throw and only about £6 as well.

If the zoomable is not enough and the C8 is too much then you want a head the size of the SolarForce L2, that offers a balance of both extremes.

the host is identical, the driver-unit and emitter are different though.

this happens quite a lot, especially with the chinese lights.

Makes you wonder how much profit companies like Fenix are making.

Lots, but less than the super-cheap chinese brands because their costs are substantially higher, better materials, much more R&D etc.

I only tried it in the room and it seem quite wide, may be i am mistaken the spill with the flood ?

Ah, room probably isn't enough, it will be so bright you won't see the full beam, try at night outside!

The Flood is what you're probably seeing indoors, there's a centre beam spot as well, that's the light sabre
