Spec me an mp3 player (please)

ok going for creative zen 4gb I think. Does everyone still think its good sound quality? I need good earphones which dont fall out, and dont let the world hear what I hear.

Zen's SQ is good, it's not fantastic, but you'd be looking at a lot more for that kind of SQ. As for phones, Super Fi 3's are good entry level cans, but it depends on your budget.

ok cool going for 4gb definately. and a mate has recommended me Sennheiser CX 300 In-Ear Headphones. They are dirt cheep at a competitors, so looks very nice.

i got the cx300 earphones, with a zen v+ 4gb, (one before current) the cx300 are miles better than standard earphones and for £15 to £20 its almost stupid not to get em :) wish i got the new zen tho, the screen looks miles better

Just an update. Its exactly what I wanted and more. Its ease of use ts fantastic, only needed a min or two in which to learn all the options and I use it like I've always had one. Sound quality is ofcourse dependant on earphones but since the CX 300's arrived thats gone miles up in my view :p Videos look suprisingly crisp and colourful for such a small screen and I am very impressed. Its very strange wacthing heroes one the way to uni!

All round I give it the thumbs up. But go for the 4gb one and buy a 4gb SD card for about £15 at certain online stores. Its cheepert then the 8gb and avoids the zen occasioanlly freezing during large transfers!
