Spec me an MP3 player...

I am after a really really large MP3 player; one which will hold over 100 gigs of music. But seen as though I've already tried it, that search has been and gone (and I failed - with the Archos player being terrible) I'm asking help to spec another MP3 player which will work as a stop gap before more reliable ones hit the market.

I need an MP3 player with a maybe 5-10 (max) gigs of storage, and it can't be an iPod. (Been there, done that, hated it).

I really need one which will hold the album info, not like an iPod shuffle. I don't really care about videos etc, although it would be nice I guess, but just a good solid MP3 player which will be reliable and have a good signal to noise ratio.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any help is appreciated! :) Thanks v much!!

Best on offer here OCUK is definately the Creative Zen Vision , although it holds 30GB and is out of stock here or on pre-order.

I regard it as probably the current best all round hard drive player on the market.

There are other mp3 players out there to check out, unfortunately they are not listed on this site. I'm fairly sure I'm not allowed to show you products from other sites so :S. Send me an email if you can, and I'll try to help (again if thats allowed).

Have a look at Sony NW-A808 it sounds very good and better than my Creative Zen Vision M.... you dont have to use it with Sonicstage either - WinAmp works and theres a vaio mp3 drag n drop software that works too!

Another good one is Cowen D2 - its 4gig but you can add SD cards to it!

Both does video.

Did you try your iPod Roxboxed? You can get one 80gig!
