I've been asked to put together a decent office PC for my Uncle, his current PC is pretty old, he only uses it for basic office, ebay, email stuff, so doesn't need a gaming graphics card, have about £1000 to spend, may be a bit more.......

Would like something fairly decent and based on an intel i7 or i5.

Needs 2 monitors about 21" each that will do at least 1080p.

Graphics card to support the 2 monitors, or can some onboard gpu's support 2 monitors?

1 SSD fairly large (only has a 200gb drive at the moment and hardly used that) can always add another drive later on.

A small ish case but a decent solid case, not sure if I should go ITX or just ATX size (no crazy gaming case just something smart and plain)

A nice pair of stereo speakers.

No operating system needs to be included just the hardware.

£1000 on an office computer is madness, even with dual screens.

You will be fine with an i5, you do not need i7 - utterly no point. In fact, you'd be fine with a basic Pentium.

The below build will be more than sufficient. The integrated GPU will run 2 screens fine

Thank you I like that! what about CPU cooling, any suggestions?

Personally I wouldn't even spend £867.24 on a machine for basic office and every day use. What a colossal waste of money.

Could go even cheaper if you shop around for a H81 ITX board for half that price.

^ That's a good idea. You can probably pick one up cheaper off eBay or Dell refurbished if you're not bothered about a warranty. Replace the HDD, get your monitors and you're golden.
