Spec me an rpg

Picked up Divinity 2 in game for a tenner and so far it's really good, a lot better than I was expecting. Combat and movement are nice and fluid, environments look really well, and the plot is suitably cliche'd :D

Voice acting isn't too bad either, considering it's an rpg

I bought this as well, couldnt beleve my luck it was the last one in Game.
Might go as far as saying im having more fun than with DA
Maybe because its all the comedy and subtle jokes.

Im having the stuttering problem that a lot of people experience. Helps greatly (almost dont notice it) if i start the game and set the process priorty to 'High'. It really pushes my graphics card, goes up to 85C, which is more than DA and BFBC2.

Very glad i got this!

Jade Empire

A great and underrated game. It's action-orientated with minimal stats juggling (There's only 3!). Also, it's from Bioware so quality is assured... Oh and it's on Steam for £8.99.

Get it already!

I'd forgotten that one. Excellent game.

It's also memorable for being properly ported from console to PC (Jade Empire Special Edition). Extra content, improved graphics, control system rewritten to properly support mouse+keyboard...a proper port, the way it should be done.

You can even play it with a romance side story if you like. Really solid game, well worth buying.

For something rather different, take a look at King's Bounty: The Legend. RRP is down to £10 now and I found it a lot of fun when I bought it last year. I bought the sequel yesterday. The combat might not be what you're looking for, though.

This one passed me by when it was released but revisted it this weekend, tried the demo out which was far better than I remembered it and for £10 I couldn't go wrong.

Loving the game., quests galore and a relatively straight forward combat system that is more fun than first impressions would indicate
