First off, some of the games I've loved in the past:

Dune series.
Dark Reign.
Red Alert.
The Warcraft / Starcraft series.

I'm looking for something along those lines. Nothing turn based, not a fan of that. I want all out war all the time. I'm no pro so nothing too difficult. I never really got into Company of Heroes for some reason, I think it was the fact that the units came in groups and I didn't like the camera angle.

Any ideas?

Dawn of War 2 won't float your boat if you're after a proper RTS, it's more a squad based tactical thing. The original Dawn of War is brilliant though.
 
Some good suggestions folks, thanks.

@Kyo: DoW is very similar to CoH - that's not what I want. I don't want to have to worry about individual units. I would like to have to worry about resources in order to build a whopping great army and just steamroll my enemies. Individual units mean nothing to me.

@hardkore: I'll be sure to take a look at those when I'm less drunk, thanks mate.

@lokiss: kknd was in fact one of my favourite games back in the day. Granted it took about 40 restarts of Win95 to get it to work, but once those grapeshot cannons were firing it was truly immense. I'll also have a look at some of your suggestions, and again - I appreciate it.

Let's see if there's anything else worth mentioning or if RTS is a dying breed ;)
