Spec me an upgrade from 6800XT

I'm considering an upgrade from my Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC which I bought in July last year...

Budget is £500 cash plus what I could get second hand for the 6800XT. I would be happy to buy new or second hand. I'm looking to drive 4k with the new card.

Anything worth switching to, or is there something I'd be best waiting for?

You're pretty much looking at a 7900XT unless you can bump your budget up to a 4080 or 7900XTX.

I'd honestly not bother in your case, the current gen is kinda shoddy unless you're willing to spend silly money on a 4090.

I'd wait. The 6800 XT is a good card and will be for a while. Everything that is a noticeable upgrade is too expensive.

Coming from a 7900XT owner I'd wait until the gap opens a bit more for your budget, make the 6800XT last.
