Spec me an upgrade pls

I have an awesome Gigabyte 7990 which Sir Stulid recommended some time ago - a snip at the time

I have an i5 2500k cpu, air cooler, 8gb crucial sport mem, 650W psu and an SSD. I game at 1080p 60hz

What CPU/MB/Memory and CPU cooler would let me max out this gfx card with current games?

Will i5 suffice? I like Gigabyte MB's, bang for buck, never overclocked.......

You know what, if you overclock what youve got then the difference between it and a 4690K will be nil.

Yes use that guide, update the BIOS first.

You also dont have to jump straight in at 4.4Ghz.
