The XL performs worse than the normal R3, despite being larger.

Therefore there must be some form of airflow issues for worse performance in a case with more space for air to move.

So, I have put the build on hold until later this week, I want to pick a good case that will last a few years and do a good job. I like the way the FD R3 looks but there seems to be little point in getting the XL if the airflow is worse than the smaller version. I don't want to pay a little extra for something that will take up more room and give rise to more whining from my significant other if the cooling is actaully worse....
