I need a new CPU, MoBo and 4Gb RAM.
Around £240 inc VAT to spend.
Looking at:

or

Any thoughts, advice, alternatives?

RJC's spec is perfect and well worth the extra money.

You could drop down to the i5 2400 but the i5 2500k enable future overclocking potential.
