Spec me an upgrade!

Time for an upgrade

Hi guys, looking to do an upgrade for the first time in 4/5 years, what i have has served me well but I think it may struggle to keep up with the latest games, not been playing as much as i used to and taken my eye off the ball a bit tech wise

What I have
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz OCd to 3.2
6gb DDR3 Corsair Ram
Foxconn Bloodrage X58 motherboard
660Ti
Asus 3D monitor 1920x1080
1000W coolermaster PSU
Crucial M225 SSD
Samsung SSD840, unused for ubuntu
2TB storage

What im looking for
Something that will keep up with GTA V and the new Batman Arkham Knight
Don't need a case or PSU, keeping the monitor aswell for now at least. GFX must be nvidia

Not really on a budget as such but looking for a setup which will serve me well as an all rounder for the next 3-4 years and is good value

I'll echo what others have said and add that new generation of CPUs are coming at the end of the year (Intel) and next year (AMD) so if you want to invest in a new CPU to last I'd wait until then. Your i7 is still great for now. As for a GPU, your best options are either a 295x2 or to wait for the new AMD cards in June.

Is the 6gb Ram not a pinch point?

So as my I prefer nvidia i take it i'll be lookin at a 980/970, will head over to the Graphics section to see whats looking good
