That time has come around again...
A GTX 970 has kept me in the game (pun not intended) for a year or so now but I'm feeling the desire for a MOBO/CPU/RAM upgrade.
This is what I've got at the moment:
Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 600W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
I'm eyeing an i7-6700K as I've had no problem with Intel before and have heard only good things about the new Skylakes.
Would greatly appreciate suggestions for my Mobo, Cooling and PSU (if needed) and RAM.
I have a Raijintek Themis Evo Professional CPU Cooler at the moment for my overclocked i5-2500K but wouldn't mind something a bit smaller just in case the new mobo sits higher as the cooler is already up against the panel of my case.
Many thanks in advance,
Dan
