spec me an x99 build please.

I'm thinking of upgrading to an x99 platform so I don't need to renew for at least 3-4 years.

The components I will need are : mobo, cpu, ram, and gpu. Also the phanteks ethoo lux case as I will be using my existing custom w/c loop.

It will be used mainly for gameing and some video editing.

Also I have a corsair (HX850 psu) will this be fine to run 2 gtx 980Ti's if I decide to go SLI later on?

My budget is £1400 - £1500

At the moment I have a z68 platform with 2600k @4.8mhz 8gig 1600 ddr3

You have in your budget for faster ram and better gpu, etc but i think this is great value.

Thanks for the spec mate that look nice, specialy the 5 year warranty on the GPU.
Would there be much improvement if I opt for a faster Ram? Or would it be better populating all slots?

before jumping for that gigabyte bundle i would look at reviews of he board. its not great. there is a better msi board for only a little more.

The i7 2600K is still more than capable if you are just mainly gaming. And if you are just doing casual video editing then it probably isn't worth the outlay to jump ship to X99.

Mmm. Itchy upgrade fingers can become expensive i suppose.
Maybe ill just upgrade my HD 6970 x 2's for now. put what i have in a new case and see how that goes.
