Hi All

Impending new kitchen, so time for some new appliances.
Swaying towards free standing on everything but maybe integrated is an option, but is the extra expense really worth it.

Looking for the following with the budget per item -

Range Cooker (Gas Hob) 90cm- Upto £1200 (Black or Silver/Stainless Steel colour)

American Fridge Freezer (Non Plumbed) 90cm - Upto £800 (Black or Silver/Stainless Steel colour)

Dishwasher 60cm - Upto £300-£350 -(Black or Silver/Stainless Steel colour)

Washing Machine 60cm - Upto £400-450 (Black or Silver/Stainless Steel colour)

First thoughts on the Range Cooker - Rangemaster, Belling
American Fridge - LG/Samsung
Dishwasher - Kenwood
Washing Machine - LG/Samsung

Tiles - Also looking at some 100mm by 300mm Blanco Bevelled white kitchen tiles from Wickes for £20sqm.

Flooring - Either UK Flooringd Direct - Wooden Laminate - Grey or Cavalio Vinyl flooring - both roughly £20 sqm (Seems a theme that price lol)

Kitchen we have purchased is the Wickes - Tiverton Slate range with White Quartz worktop.

Any recommendations would be greatfully appreciated. Ive also joined the Which website on a £1 month trial :-)

I have a RangeMaster range. Its fine.

I also have a Samsung American fridge freezer (although plumbed) and its fine.

I have a Bosch Washing machine and Dishwasher. They are also fine.

I hope that helps :p

I have a Delonghi Rangemaster. dunno what model. It was there when we moved in. Its OK. I like that it has 6 hobs, but I dislike its a single massive oven.

I have a Siemens integrated dishwasher. it cost £50 off gumtree when the other one broke. Its OK but needs cleaning quite regularly else we get sandy glasses.

I have an integrated Ikea fridge freezer so cant help on the American styleeeee. But its OK.

I have an Indesit integrated washer drier. its OK.

Hope that helps :-)

We have a Bosch Logixx8. It cost 600 odd euro, so should put it within your budget. Good machine, always wants to be updated though? Turning it off/on seems to get rid of that. Has an amazing range of settings. You can literally change everything to suit your needs. Create new cleaning programs etc etc

The rest of our appliances are out of budget.

If you want an integrated washing machine, you need to increase your budget if you want a good brand. Integrated is absurdly expensive for this sort of appliance - annoyingly so.

I went for all Neff integrated appliances (Fridge Freezer, Induction Hob, Cooker Hood, Oven and Micro Combi Oven) and then a Freestanding Miele washer.

Regarding the washing machine, we have a freestanding Bosch the second of which has performed faultlessly and no hassle at all.

We have a 600 freestanding Belling Format Halogen hob and ...oven and grill ermm...30 years old, never had a problem with it (although we dont use it day in day out) its going soon if you want it? lol replacing the kitchen at some stage to.

We ended up going for a Hoover Integrated Washing Machine and Kenwood Dishwasher and American Fridge Freezer (Which - Best Buy). Managed to get these all for £1050

Only product left is the Range Cooker and im swaying towards Rangemaster here, based on the reputation, Which reviews and generally the look.
Probably the Hi-Lite or Pro+ Dual Fuel 90cm but open to other brands like youve stated. It will be a few weeks away from now before we buy.

Hopeful there will be a bargain around. Few ebay stores have them for around the £1k mark.

Kenwood is just a brand, it is stuff purchased from the cheapest Chinese manufacture at the time, the dishwashers, the heaters fail.

The fridge freezers, the bearings on the doors fails, and or the PCB's fail in them.

stuff? Components you mean? Arent all components from Asia realistically? Made cheaply.....

All of them? Every single model?

I read a fair few reviews and Which and they all came back very positive.

Fwiw our rangemaster seems solid enough, we have had the grill and one of the oven elements fail but they are readily available on eBay very cheaply.

I'd happily get another one :)

You missed out the coffee machine, Nespresso recommended! I would go free standing appliances as better value and easier to replace.
