Spec me around this OC i5 bundle

I need some advice please for a base unit,£600/700 to spare...

Thing's i need:
Case (not a big one it will sit on my bedroom unit which isn't that deep)
PSU
GPU
Hard drive
cdrom/dvd
fans (if req)
(everything else needed in a base unit)

hav'nt built a pc since i built my P4 3.4EE which is a few yrs old now..gonna have to retire it :)

It will primariy used for gaming through my 32" TV and browsing the web ect.

Really hard to beat that spec.

The case comes heavily recommended. The Antec 300 is an alternative, but I see little reason why you would choose that over the Silverstone.

The GPU is mostly up to you as well of course Depends on what resolution, what budget and what you want. But the 460 768 is a smashing card.
 
well if hes pulling the trigger 2night or 2morrow it will be out of stock m8. like i said if hes waiting then hes good to go with that first spec!!!!!!!

that coolermaster can hold a 5970 so i recomended it because of space. can the silverstone hold a 5970?

My res is 1360*768..i was being quite conservative with my budget but i could stretch if required to £1000,i would like a top end GPU and PSU..what are the Sapphire PSU's like? i thought most people go for the Corsair range and alike? i didn't realise they made PSU' :)

The Coolermaster sound's great if it can hold a high end card.

p.s i have to inc W7 home premium 74bit retail if poss or OEM if you advise that?..

The Sapphire PSU is just a rebranded Enermax revolution, which is a quality unit, certainly given your res I'd just stick with the original spec, no need to spend the extra just cos youve got it, therell be minimal if any performance gain
Edit: Re windows, yeah go for home premium, its upto you if you want OEM which saves a few quid but is theoretically tied to that mobo (so you'd need to buy a new copy of windows on a rebuild, or get retail which costs a bit more but can be carried on to next build - still only on one machine at a time though)
 
I'd just stick a 470 in that first spec with jake's case, if you want more GPU. If you still have some cash to burn add a C300 SSD. £20 seems to have come off that bundle overnight too! e.g...

Does look good but once you add windows 7 it will be over your budget, also other have speced the pc with a 470 gpu which is a higher performing card.
