Currently have a Yamaha rx-v675, which has served me well, however as I am about to jump onto SkyQ with their UHD offering, the lack of 4k pass through is going to be a hindrance. So I am looking for advice on what to replace it with.

My initial thought was to grab an rx-v677 but its not the newest model out there at the moment tbh. Don't necessarily have a need to stop with Yamaha, although I do use the Airplay function it offers. Currently it powers a 5.1 Monitor Audio bx5 setup and a BK electronics sub and I utilise four hdmi outputs. Ideally I would like a wireless offering if possible. I would say budget would be upto and around £300 mark.

Cheers folks.

I wanted to try to get the Denon X2300W from Richer Sounds but none of the stores near where I live had it in stock as they said it was end of life - hence why it's at such a good price (if you can find it!)

In then end I got it's successor - Denon X2400H - I was particular interested the fact these models had not only the 4K pass through and support for HDR but the dual HDMI output - one output for the TV and one for a projector.

Either AVR receiver is excellent.

Thanks for the reply guys....I had noticed the 2300 was in very short supply, although my local branch in Birmingham apparently has two display models, not that keen on these tbh, so will have to keep digging around to see what else fits my requirements.

Managed to find an AVRX2300W at Superfi in Birmingham last night, cost me £350 but it's brand new. They were showing 2 in stock last night, just checked and now showing out of stock...phew.
Thanks for the advice guys :)
