Spec Me - Board,Chip,Ram

Hi,

I'm after up grading an old'ish PC. I have £300.00 to spend on :-

Motherboard
CPU
Memory

I would like the PC to be as fast as possible in the giving price range.

Depends on what PSU you have to power it all & what GFX card you have.

More importantly, you say you want it to be fast, but at doing what? different chips are fast at different things, what you planning to use it for?
