Spec Me C2D Please

I have just tried to run Rainbow Six LV, and it told me that my AMD SD4000+ is not good enought anymore. So I am gonna upgrade to an C2D system. All I need is a Prozzer, Mobo, and the memory. I have everything else I need. Here is what the hardware I already have:

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1950 XT 256MB GDDR3
Samsung SM-930BF 19" LCD Monitor
2x WD Raptor 74GB
Audigy 4 Pro
Pioneer 110DBK
Pioneer 109XL
CM Stacker Case
Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU

I know I want an E6600 Prozzer, just not sure about the mobo & the memory.

My limit is no more than £600, but would like to keep the cost down as much as possible.

Thanks for your replies, I have been looking at those mobo's, and the Nforce 680i seems to be one of the best ones around. So am leaning towards one of those. Which one out of the EVGA & the BFG is the better one?

No, the BFG has a 3 year warranty an the EVGA has a 10 year one.

Both are the same board. Choose whichever one you prefer.
