Spec me Call of Duty Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3 ?

Im in the mood for some COD action, god knows why, I'll probably regret it in a while but I havent played some linear, on rails, brain washing, shootfest that is Call of Duty for a long while.

Im serious, no really, I am.

So, Im looking for both the singleplayer and multiplayer, the only ones I havent played are Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3...

Which should I get?
Wheres the cheapest place to buy?

P.S. - Yes, incase youre not sure, Im serious, I want to play COD

I'd just wait a month for blops 2 tbh. Play Blacklight Retribution or something until then

you won't find a cod for less than £30 so I'd just go with blops2.

As said, you'd be better off waiting a month. But if you're desperate then Black Ops is far better than MW3.

Did you play the medal of honor remake?

Thats a lot like cod and is a lot better than the last three cod games. Theres also a sequel called warfighter which could be great or average.

I spec you Black Hawk Down, best FPS multiplayer experience apart from, BF2. Very active still with Team Sabre exp pack. I can't recommend either of those COD games as they both suck imo.

Pick up blops if you can get it cheap. But blops 2 is out soon.

Anyone offers or even suggests MW3, kick them in the genital area. It really is awful.

MW3 was far better than BO for SP IMO - the latter was probably the worst of the engire series.

IMO black ops is the best COD since COD4.

It's the only one with some slightly new features.

Its not the features, at least for me.

It is just really well balanced. Weapons, perks and maps all very well done.

I'd probably just save your money and not buy any.

I bought both black ops and mw3, played them both for about an hour or two then I got so bored. (Massive Mw1/2 fan to)

Black ops is the better of the two imo though.

Black Ops was still horribly broken when I last played it, lots of micro-stutter when moving and firing weapons online, massive framerate slowdowns in SP, etc. on PCs that can hand much more demanding games fine. Not to mention numerous bugs with the player levelling stuff.

MW3 is a slicker MP experience tho lacking a few things that gave black ops character but the maps are very very one dimensional and uninspiring to play even when they look good due to the console focus.
