Ok, end of last week, I upgraded my Canon 400D in favour of the Canon 7D! :D

Very very happy with the upgrade, as I expected I would be, however, I currently have 2 bag's for my camera. Both are Lowepro, 1 is the FastPack 250 I believe, which holds my camera, lens, flash + laptop and extras without any problem.

The other bag I have is a Slingshot 100 AW, which, with the 7D + grip, and extras, doesn't really fit anymore :( It's a bit of a shame, as I really like this bag, is small, light, well padded, and has been ideal when out and about.

Now if I am going to have to get rid of this bag, then I would like to replace it with something as similar as possible, but 1 that will comfortably fit my kit, and survive a 3 week holiday to Australia next April :p

So, members of OcUK photographers, spec me :p

Knowing what the Lowepro range is like, I've just looked over at Crumpler, who I haven't bought from before, only because I bought my bags new, when I got my 400D.

Looking at the Crumpler range, anyone used or have experience with: http://www.crumpler.eu/index.cfm?seite=photo-sling-bags&productID=7732&sprache=EN

? Most specifically, is it going to fit nicely a 7D(with lens) + Grip + flash ?

E: Also just found they have a store in Bluewater, Kent, not too far from me. Might have to go down there with my kit and have a bit of a play about with bags :)

Ditto. I have the 202AW and the 302AW. The 202 as it's too small to fit my body with my new 70-200 f/2.8 IS II on it, so I got the 302 and it's got bag of space now.

^^ The 202 doesn't look bad, and as you said, the 302 looks like it has a lot more space, probably far too much for a walkabout kit.

You could also look at the Tamrac Evolution series eg the Evo 8. Can be swapped between sling left, sling right and a full backpack. I'm very pleased with mine.

^^ This looks pretty nice, but for something to throw on my back and go out for a 5hour walk/cycle etc, it looks far too big again.

The sheer small size of the 100AW was about perfect. Great just to throw over my shoulder, and off I go. Given the photos of the Crumpler I linked above, it looks like I might go that way. But definitely going to have to get my hands on a few, and see what its like putting my kit into them.
