Simple enough - less than £50 if possible.
Just for watching movies on flights with an iPad / Android tablet

What you got, guys?

At that budget I'd be very surprised if you'll get anything with Active Noise Cancelling (maybe some Ali Express special which breaks after 5 minutes)*, so you're probably better looking at noise isolating ear buds - I have some Soundcore Life P2, and when they're fitted properly and you've got music playing, you can barely hear anything else.

* I might be completely wrong, but when I looked a few years ago, it was more like £150+ for anything worth actually considering

I bought Sony WH-CH710N for £80 last year but for some reason can't see then new for under £100 don't know if its end of line or lack of parts etc, but they were for the wife for flying did a great job

Got my daughter some Creative Zen Hybrid for Christmas, and she's immensely pleased with them.

Judging from how hard it is to get her to respond to anything, the ANC is fairly good too. :D

for just over £50 as they were on special offer
i got my partner a set of
anker soundcore q20 or q30 cant remember exactly which
got myself Sony WH-1000XM4
mine were over 4x the price but the anker actually did a decent job
if youre actually playing music etc youre not going to hear
much background noise anyway
then youre fine with a cheaper set in my opinion
but for the money i was pretty impressed with the anker must admit

edit
17 hour flight to australia and the anker held up fine
even came with the adapter for planes that dont have more modern set up
the 2 pin adapter thing
