Got a limited budget of £5-£10.

Either FPS or Third-person, not too fussed. I've tried TF2, not a fan!

I've found Bioshock 2 for £5, that any good?

Fear is on Steam for £7. Great game, very atmospheric and possibly the best combat I've ever seen in a game.

Tribes Ascend is a free game. Not played a Tribes since the original but this looks like it is a good sequel with a decent f2p model.

If all you want is a shooter, you really don't need to spend any money. You have Tribes Ascend which is freaking awesome fun or if you want something a bit more COD like, get blacklight : retribution.

Blacklight Retribution is another freebie that looks pretty good.
I've not played it much and it was released around the same time as Tribes so seems to have been overlooked a bit.

I'm downloading blacklight now, for free I can't see any reason why you wouldn't.

I would thoroughly recommend tribes though. it's hard to get "into" if you're not used to tribes (I'm certainly not) but when you start getting into the swing of it it's so rewarding.

I'm gonna buy Source for Zombie Mod. It's absolutely rubbish as a CS game, but as a zombie game it's pretty darned good.

see if you can find Rogue Trooper, I was very happily surprised by this game. I wasn't expecting much but really enjoyed playing through the story.

Maybe Armed and Dangerous if you fancy a fps with a twist. Not a serious shooter like half life but it's one of the few guys that really made me laugh, very good story.
