my mate needs a new system ASAP as his one is like 6 years old and dying on him

he wants to play some games on it like battle for middle earth and some free mmorpgs

just the tower is needed
he has max budget of £400 but as cheap as possible!

no problem, just post your changes so we can advise if its a good idea or not.
if you are not Overclocking then the intel HSF should be fine ,however if you want lower temps or you or your friend may consider OCing, then a 3rd party cooler is advised .

infact that spec looks great
i think im gonna drop that GFX and just give him my old 2600 ATi and since the option is there to OC i might aswell give it a bash..

good luck with the build and i hope it all goes well.

by dropping the gfx, your friend could get a seperate PSU and case combination, one that may suit him/his room more with the cash saved.

for a PSU i would recommend a corsair VX450 for that spec, as for the case his choice
