Hi guys,
After a basic system for my mum for her birthday.
Her current computer (celeron +1gb ram) is far far too slow so I intend to bin it and buy all new.
I am not keen on amd's offerings so would like a i3 system.
Requirements = base pc no monitor keyboard or mouse required and cheapest possible (don't care about a few pounds difference)
The best spec I have got so far is:
"Primo Ascension" Intel Core i3 H55 DDR3 Ready Barebones (Socket 1156) £89.99
Intel Core i3 540 3.06GHz (Clarkdale) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail £84.98
Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1333C9D3B1K2/4G) £35.99
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 250GB SATA 6Gb/s 8MB Cache - OEM (ST3250312AS) £28.98
Sony Optiarc AD-5260S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £15.98
Which comes to: £255.92
Any better offers?
