My current pc (P4 2.4, Radeon 9800 pro) has died and im in the market for a new conroe build.

I have a 19" monitor i'll keep for the minute, also have a case though need a new power supply for it.

Want to spend less than £700 with decent conroe spec with half decent graphics card.

Thanks guys

Something like this should be suitable, I don't know if you need all the parts but if not remove whatever you don't need to keep it well under the budget.

Fair points, I think they would make the PC better overall, certainly in overclocking terms and the X1800XT is no slouch so I'd go with those changes happily :)

I just thought the 1900 would have gone to waste on a 19"
