Spec me Conroe for 500quid

I want a conroe cpu, motherboard, ram and cpu cooler for about 500 that i can overclock to hell without compatability issues any suggestions?

This is under the budget and offers good overclocking potential, if you want to get nearer to the budget then you could either change for a DS4 or a 6400 but neither is likely to make much of a difference to total overclocking ability.

there you go, could always go for the OEM 6600 for the 4mb L2 cache, but its just not worth the added money in my opinion
